ABOUT ME
I am a trombonist and passionate musician based in Winterthur, Switzerland.
As a trained classical trombonist, I am employed by the Swiss symphony orchestra Musikkollegium Winterthur.
With my ensemble SEBASS (Balkan & Romani music)
I've been giving concerts for 16 years and we have produced four albums.
Being a musicican is a great joy and I love to create art with so many inspiring artists from around the world.

SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
The Musikkollegium Winterthur was founded in 1629 and is therefore one of the most traditional musical institutions in Europe.
Winterthur stands out in the European cultural landscape. Not only thanks to its art collections, but also thanks to its boutique symphony orchestra - the Musikkollegium Winterthur - which has been under the direction of the young chief conductor Roberto González-Monjas since 2021/22.

CONTEMPORARY & TAPDANCE
9-point inc. is an ensemble with six musicians and the 11-time tap dance world champion Daniel Borak. The music written by Kilian Deissler is a sophisticated mixture of virtuosic complex music and tap dance. After a big tour through Switzerland, Austria and Germany we had the pleasure to perform at the tap dance festival Chicago Human Rithm Project in Chicago USA.
PRIMEBRASS
BRASS QUINTET
Primebrass is a classic brass quintet. We mainly play pieces originally written for brass quintet and hire local composers to write new pieces for brass quintet. So far two wonderful pieces "Pentamorph" by Kilian Deissler and "Dark Nostalgia" by Fabian Künzli have been composed for us. These were premiered during our tour.
MY YOUTUBE PROJECT
I've always been very inspired by the music of the Roma, Balkan music and Turkish music. There are very few trombone players who play Romani, Balkan or Turkish music. During my travels through the Balkans I visited some fantastic musicians to learn their music and I had the privilege of getting a glimpse into their culture. Their hospitality was amazing and it was an incredible and unique experience for me. With this YouTube project I would like to encourage other trombone players to learn this music and to inspire them with the beautiful melodies and the high virtuosity of this wonderful music.
